HR Solution Center aims to provide quick responses

Princeton NJ -- Employees and retirees with questions about issues ranging from benefits to employee relations now will be able to get most answers within one business day by making one contact. The Office of Human Resources is opening a new one-stop HR Solution Center on Monday, June 28.

"After conducting a thorough review of existing human resources programs and processes, the Office of Human Resources developed the new HR Solution Center, which is intended to provide centralized service across a wide range of topics," said Maureen Nash, vice president for human resources. "The HR Solution Center is the result of a detailed evaluation of other service centers in various environments and matches the needs of our users with the best available technology. The HR Solution Center is one step in our plan to become an outstanding service provider to faculty, staff and retirees."

Claire Jacobs Elson will serve as director of the HR Solution Center. Elson has been working at the University since November 1991, during which time she served as a human resources region manager.

Human resources professionals will be available to answer questions from staff, faculty and retirees between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 258-3300 or faxing 258-5920. (During summer hours, the office will be open between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) Employees and retirees also are encouraged to e-mail questions at any time to <hr@princeton.edu> and to visit the HR Solution Center Web site at <Web site>.
