The Bulletin is published weekly during the academic year, except during University breaks and exam weeks, by the Office of Communications. Second class postage paid at Princeton. Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $30 for the 2005-06 academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and people over 65). Deadlines. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for the Bulletin that covers May 22-June 4 is Friday, May 12. Student obituary

Princeton NJ — University officials have learned from the family of senior Manzili Davis of Chicago that he was found deceased in California.

Davis’ family told administrators that the family had been concerned he was missing, and they were informed April 19 by California authorities that Davis apparently took his life while on a trip to East Palo Alto, Calif.

Davis came to Princeton from Mount Carmel High School, where he graduated with honors in May 2002. He was the president of the National Honor Society and was a member of the Scholastic Bowl team, math competition team, forensic society and the cross country team.

At Princeton, Davis was completing his degree this year in the politics department. He was a Mathey College peer adviser as well as a member of the Whig-Cliosophic Society and Prelaw Society.

He is survived by his parents, Roella Davis and Jerome Davis, and elder sisters Johari Davis and Malaika Henderson.

The University is planning a memorial service to be held on campus at a later date.
