Benefits Fairs set for Oct. 19-20

Have questions about your benefits? Come to the Benefits Fairs sponsored by the Office of Human Resources.

The events will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, in the Spitzer Building at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab and Thursday, Oct. 20, in the Frist Campus Center Multipurpose Room. Representatives from the various health, welfare and retirement vendors will be available.

Participants will be able to:

• Learn what benefit options are available by speaking with representatives from the Office of Human Resources, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Crosby Benefit Systems, Medco, Carebridge, VSP, CNA and Prudential Life Insurance.

• Get answers to questions about retirement accounts from representatives of TIAA-CREF and Vanguard.

• Find out about the upcoming Mammography Screening Program from representatives of the University Medical Center. (The Mammography Screening Program is available to all female employees of Princeton University, ages 35 and over.)

• Obtain information about programs on ridesharing, walking or biking and the use of mass transit to commute to and from work from representatives of the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association.

• Learn about the UnitedHealthcare Select EPO (HMO) and the new Aetna PPO Max Dental plans by attending a presentation by UnitedHealthcare and Aetna.

Reservations are not required to attend the Benefits Fairs.

Faculty and staff are reminded that the 2006 annual benefits open enrollment begins on Monday, Oct. 10, and will end at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28.

Faculty and staff should use the personalized benefits enrollment form they will receive in their 2006 annual benefits open enrollment packet to make any benefit changes for themselves and their eligible dependents for the 2006 calendar year. The corrected, signed and dated personalized benefits enrollment form must be received by the Office of Human Resources, 1 New South, by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28.
