The Bulletin is published weekly during the academic year, except during University breaks and exam weeks, by the Office of Communications. Second class postage paid at Princeton. Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $30 for the academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and people over 65). Deadlines. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for the Bulletin that covers Nov. 15-21 is Friday, Nov. 5. A complete publication schedule is available at <deadlines> or by calling (609) 258-3601.

The Office of Career Services conducts an annual survey of Princeton seniors to determine their post-graduation plans. The class of 2004 survey, conducted in May and June, revealed that:

• Some 63 percent of graduating seniors were pursuing full-time employment or yearlong internships, while about 26 percent were planning further education. Roughly 8 percent were following other pursuits, including the military, travel and professional sports. (About 3 percent of seniors did not respond to the survey.)

• Of those employed full time, the most popular career choices were investment banking and other financial services (41 percent); consulting and other service industries (28 percent); education and other nonprofit organizations (15 percent); and computer products and other manufacturing companies (7 percent). In addition, 8 percent of the class of 2004 accepted yearlong internships in a variety of fields.

• Among those planning further education, the largest concentrations were in law (25 percent); medicine and related fields (17 percent); sciences and mathematics (15 percent); social sciences (15 percent); engineering (12 percent); and humanities (11 percent).
