Public safety posts security report

Princeton NJ -- The Department of Public Safety will post the University's annual Campus Security Report online Oct. 1. This report is required by the Federal Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Jeanne Clery Act) and contains crime statistics for the previous three years. It will be available at <web.princeton.edu/sites/publicsafety/>.

The report also outlines safety and security policies and contains tips to help members of the University community remain safe and avoid becoming a victim of crime. In addition, the Department of Public Safety is providing an online awareness training video titled "Making Princeton University a Safer Community for Everyone" on the Web site.

A printed brochure containing the data from the annual report may be requested by visiting the department's office at Stanhope Hall or by calling 258-5772.
