Mudd Manuscript Library exhibition

This photograph of the class of 1976 at its 25th Reunion is among the items on display in “Going Back in Orange and Black,” an exhibition at the Mudd Manuscript Library through July 28. The photo, from the July 4, 2001, issue of the Princeton Alumni Weekly, shows the alumni decked out in their class jackets.

The exhibition highlights the unique wardrobes of Princeton’s Reunions from the 19th century to the present. Members of the class, who will be on campus for their 30th Reunion June 1-4, and others can view the display in the library’s Wiess Lounge from 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. On Reunions Saturday, June 3, the exhibition will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Credit union moving to Carnegie, Frist

The Princeton University Federal Credit Union will move to a new off-campus office at 104 Carnegie Center and increase its service offerings at the Frist Campus Center beginning Monday, May 22.

The credit union is moving from its current location in the Armory on Washington Road as part of the University’s plan to construct a new chemistry building at the Armory site.

The new office at the Carnegie Center, which is off Route 1 in Princeton Township, will provide a full range of services to credit union members. The credit union also will have a representative available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays on the 100 level of the Frist Campus Center, in addition to its existing ATM at that location.

The credit union serves some 10,000 members, including University employees and students as well as members affiliated with other local employers. For more information, visit the credit union’s Web site at www.princetonfcu.org .

20,000 expected for Reunions

Some 20,000 people — alumni and their families — are expected on campus Thursday through Sunday, June 1-4, for Reunions activities.

Highlights of the weekend will include: the annual P-rade throughout campus beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday; alumni-faculty forums and department open houses during the day on Friday and Saturday; and performances by groups including Quipfire!, Theatre Intime and the Triangle Club, receptions and student/alumni arch sings on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The University Orchestra will present its annual lawn concert at 8 p.m. Saturday on Finney and Campbell fields. Fireworks will follow at 9:15 p.m.

All alumni and University representatives once again will be required to have wristbands to participate in Reunions activities in the major reunion headquarters courtyards (wristbands are not required for attending lectures, watching the P-rade or attending the concert and fireworks). Faculty and staff who ordered wristbands in advance from the Alumni Council may pick them up from 7 to 11 p.m. each night in the Maclean House parlor (enter through the front door).

Swim club seeks members

The Broadmead Swim Club, located near campus at 184 Broadmead St., is accepting members for the 2006 season.

Broadmead provides a 25-meter pool and a separate enclosed baby pool as well as recently renovated changing rooms and private bathrooms. The season runs from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.
