Survey set on parking and transportation
Princeton NJ — University faculty, staff and graduate students are being asked to complete a survey about parking and transportation use and behavior that will help determine a strategy for meeting short- and long-term needs in these areas.
[The study] will provide baseline data about parking and transportation use and behavior, which will be used to develop system-wide recommendations for campus parking and shuttle operations.
They will receive an e-mail message inviting them to participate in the survey, which will be available online at www.princeton.edu/survey-parking from Monday, Nov. 14, through Wednesday, Nov. 23. Paper copies will be disseminated to those without regular access to computers. Undergraduate needs in these areas will be assessed through a separate, broader survey to be administered at a later date.
The study takes about 10 minutes to complete. It will provide baseline data about parking and transportation use and behavior, which will be used to develop system-wide recommendations for campus parking and shuttle operations. These recommendations will be included in the 10-year campus plan being developed by University administrators and the firm of Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners LLP.
The parking and transportation survey is being administered by the Office of the University Architect in cooperation with Chance Management Advisors, a parking and access management firm in Philadelphia.
