Smaller departments gain concentrators
In comparison to current juniors and seniors, an increasing number of sophomores are selecting majors in what have traditionally been smaller departments (see article in this issue). According to a report from Dean of the College Nancy Malkiel on sophomores’ choices of majors, the following departments recorded gains of 25 percent or more:
