The Bulletin is published weekly during the academic year, except during University breaks and exam weeks, by the Office of Communications. Second class postage paid at Princeton. Permission is given to adapt, reprint or excerpt material from the Bulletin for use in other media.

Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $15 for the spring semester ($7.50 for current Princeton parents and people over 65). Send a check to Office of Communications, Princeton University, 22 Chambers St., Suite 201, Princeton, NJ 08542.

Deadlines. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The dead-line for the Bulletin that covers April 18-24 is Friday, April 8. A complete publication schedule is available at <deadlines> or by calling (609) 258-3601.

Name: Danette Rivera.

Position: Graduate coordinator for the Department of Near Eastern Studies. Acting as the liaison between the Graduate School, graduate students and the department’s director of graduate studies. Coordinating campus visits for prospective graduate students. Handling travel arrangements for guest lecturers.

Quote: “The most enjoyable part of my job is to meet and work with very interesting people, both from inside and outside of the University. Graduate students, professors and lecturers, who come to Princeton from all over the world, give me the opportunity to learn a great deal about languages and cultures.”

Other interests: Serving as vice president of the board of Prospect House and as a member of the Fairness Review panel. Attending films and theatrical performances. Shopping and dining with friends in New York and Philadelphia.
