Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $14 for the spring semester of the academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and people over 65). Send a check to Office of Communications, Princeton University, 22 Chambers St., Suite 201, Princeton, NJ 08542.

Deadline. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for the Bulletin that covers June 14-September 5 is Friday, June 4. A complete publication schedule is available at deadlines or by calling (609) 258-3601.

Summer work scheduled for auditorium

 

Princeton NJ -- Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall will be undergoing a major renovation this summer. The auditorium will close on June 9 so that workers can install a comprehensive sprinkler system and refurbished seating, repaint the ceiling and refinish the flooring, as well as address accessibility issues.

The Princeton Summer Concerts series has been moved to the University Chapel for this summer. Auditorium offices will be located in a nearby office trailer, and staff will be available for planning events for next year. The auditorium will re-open by Sept. 4.

"Throughout the planning process for these major projects, we have discussed and stressed with the University facilities project manager the importance of ensuring the acoustics and aesthetics of the building are not altered in any measurable way," said Jennifer Sorgatz, associate director of the auditorium. "To this end, the project includes acoustical testing and readings for the hall prior to the project's commencement and after the project's end."
