Elisabeth Dorman

Appointment

Elisabeth Dorman has been selected as the University’s new director of graduate alumni relations.

Dorman comes to Princeton from Stanford University, where she worked in alumni relations and development for two years. She served as an alumni relations officer and as an assistant director with the Stanford Business School Alumni Association. She also worked as a senior communications officer in Stanford’s development office.

At Princeton, Dorman will be responsible for strengthening the relationship between the University and its 20,000 Graduate School alumni. She also will support the activities of the Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni.

“I look forward to continuing and enhancing the programs and services we offer our graduate alumni and encourage all departments to contact Elisabeth with their ideas, suggestions and concerns,” said William Russel, dean of the Graduate School.

A graduate of Stanford, Dorman earned a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. For three years, she worked as advertising and production coordinator for Boston-based Sail Magazine.

Dorman succeeds Alyssa Miksis, who has joined the development office staff as associate director of annual giving.
