Name: Tony Loden.
Position: Sports camp manager in the Office of Conference and Event Services. Overseeing the University’s summer athletic camps for children ages 6 to 18. Organizing housing, meals and other logistics for the 5,500 campers who participate in 22 sports. Designing brochures, advertisements and the camp Web site.
Quote: “I enjoy working in the collegiate setting because it allows me the opportunity to interact with student-athletes who play for the love of the game. Most people don’t understand the sacrifices our athletes make in their efforts to excel in the classroom, on the field and in the greater University community as a whole.”
