Name: Julia Duke.

Position: Dean's assistant in the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students. Supplying administrative support for the training and selection of the students who provide residential advising in the colleges. Helping Assistant Dean Tom Dunne with tasks related to the 250 student organizations he oversees.

Other interests: Fiction writing and cooking. Traveling with her husband and son.

Effective Sept. 1: at the Fields Center for Equality and Cultural Understanding, director Heddye Ducree, after 11 years; in leadership gifts, associate director Douglas Lovejoy, after 16 years; in the Humanities Council/Society of Fellows, office support staff member Irene Rowe, after 34 years; in the plasma physics lab, lead engineer Theodore Terpstra, after 22 years.


Retiree open enrollment is Oct. 6–17

The University's retiree annual open enrollment period is from Monday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 17, with changes effective Jan. 1.

During this time, retirees may change or waive their health plan coverage. Retirees also may remove dependents from their health care plan. If healthcare coverage is waived or if dependents are removed from the plan, re-enrollment at a later date is not permitted.

All completed forms must be returned to Princeton University, Office of Human Resources, 1 New South, Princeton, NJ 08544 no later than Friday, Oct. 17. Retirees who are not making any changes to their health plan do not need to do anything.

Retirees will be receiving information in the mail very soon about the retiree healthcare plans. More detailed information is available on the Office of Human Resources Web site at <www.princeton.edu/hr/oe>.
