Since the early 1980s, the Paderewski Foundation has supported a memorial concert as part of the University Concert Series. Now, the foundation is dissolving and will turn its assets to the University in order to sustain the annual concert.

The Paderewski Foundation was established in 1948 with the objective of perpetuating the memory of Paderewski, who was a close friend and adviser to Princeton's 13th president Woodrow Wilson. Paderewski, who served as first premier of free Poland in 1918, collaborated with Wilson in framing the Versailles Treaty at the close of World War I.

Board members scheduled to attend include Laura Junglas, president and treasurer; Dr. John Cetner, vice president; and Joanne Wallace, secretary. Family and friends scheduled to attend include Frances Barsh, former board president; Tama Barsh, Sophie Czechlewski, Nancy Junglas, Don Junglas and Andrew McIntosh.

NOTE: Please notify the Office of Communications if you plan on attending the availability.
