President Tilghman was joined by U.S. Rep. Rush Holt, Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, and other national leaders for a Dec. 15 event at Princeton to map out a strategy to renew the nation’s support of physical sciences and energy research.

Tilghman hosted a group of prominent business, education, science and political figures for a roundtable discussion on the need to boost the support of science as a way of addressing the country’s economic ills.
