Position: Data management support staff member in the Program in the Study of Women and Gender. Processing course information. Ordering textbooks and reserve reading for professors. Maintaining the program’s website. Serving as the managing editor and subscription manager for the graduate student journal Critical Matrix. Helping to prepare the program’s newsletter. Providing computer support.

Quote: “Being at Princeton has been an important part of my life. While temping at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, I met my husband, Chuck, who is on the engineering and scientific staff at the lab, and we later married in the University Chapel. Before leaving Princeton for six years to raise a family, I was the undergraduate administrator in the philosophy department and then the department manager for Slavic languages and literatures.”

Other interests: Spending time with her sons, 8-year-old Charlie and 6-year-old Alex. Volunteering at their school. Quilting and knitting.

Robert George, the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions, has received the Heritage Foundation’s 2008 Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship.

The $25,000 prize is given annually to “Americans who uphold and advance the principles of the American founding, embody the virtues of character and mind that animated America’s founders, and exemplify the spirit of independent and entrepreneurial citizenship in the United States,” according to the foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C.

A distinguished constitutional scholar, George is widely quoted on political, legal and religious issues.
