Name: Brian Rubin.

Position: Research administrator in the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Conducting research on corporations and foundations to monitor their funding priorities and identify grants for which Princeton faculty members are eligible. Acquiring detailed information on research being done at the University. Staying up-to-date on trends in philanthropy.

Quote: “I get to learn about many cutting-edge projects that our professors and researchers are taking on. I feel I’m able to contribute by finding potential partners to help fund the work being done by the faculty at Princeton.”

Other interests: Serving as the president of the executive board of the Princetonians of Color Network. Mentoring youth at the Princeton-Blairstown Center. Watching football and basketball.

Brief

Yacine Aït Sahalia, Princeton’s Otto A. Hack 1903 Professor of Finance and Economics and director of the Bendheim Center for Finance, has been named a fellow of the American Statistical Association.

Aït-Sahalia is one of 53 new fellows selected by the association in honor of their outstanding professional contributions to and leadership in the field of statistical science. He has been a faculty member at Princeton since 1998.
