Name: Zia Bartley.

Position: Diversity and events management specialist in the Office of Human Resources. Coordinating and managing major human resources and diversity events, including the Service Recognition Luncheon, the staff retirement dinner and the United Way campaign. Addressing issues of retention and recruitment of diverse staff. Working with affinity groups such as the Princetonians of Color Network and the Latino Administrators of Princeton University.

Quote: “Working on the staff recognition program, I’ve met people who have been at the University for 45 years. That just says something about an organization. There’s something wonderful about a place where people stay so long.”

Other interests: Spending time with her family. Volunteering at soup kitchens and with the Special Olympics New Jersey.
