Envisioning
Paradise

More than 400 people attended the program "Envisioning Paradise: A Conference on Toni Morrison's Art and Imagination," held on campus February 12 and 13.

The program featured panels discussions, a keynote address by Nellie McKay of the University of Wisconsin on the role of Morrison's novels in "Claiming a Heritage -- Creating a Heritage," and a reading by Morrison followed by an onstage interview.
