A plea for peace in the Middle East

Princeton NJ — King Abdullah II of Jordan delivered a public address at the University on Feb. 29, urging the United States to take a stronger role in helping to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and secure the future of the Middle East. Warning that time is running out to achieve peace in the Middle East, he stressed that the United States must help to reach an accord by the end of 2008. 

Following his address in Richardson Auditorium, Abdullah met with Princeton students at a reception. The king’s visit to Princeton came between his meetings with U.N. • Deadlines. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for the Bulletin that covers March 24-30 is Friday, Mar. 14.
