Princeton NJ — The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs joined with the Partnership for Public Service to host a forum on federal service, “Preparing Tomorrow’s Public Service Leaders,” on Nov. 7-8 at Princeton.
By bringing together government and academic leaders and policy experts, the organizers sought to begin a national dialogue about creating and expanding fellowships and other programs to attract the nation’s top students to federal service.
Among the participants were Wilson School Dean Anne-Marie Slaughter (pictured), who discussed Princeton’s efforts to broaden the pool of potential government servants, and Max Stier, president and chief executive officer of the Partnership for Public Service, who spoke about research on recruitment for federal service.
