Name: Rob Harbison.
Position: Culinary concept coordinator in Dining Services. Supervising the bake shop. Designing and executing special events for the University. Developing new retail operations, such as Café Vivian and the ice cream and coffee bar under construction in the Frist Campus Center.
Quote: “Princeton has a visiting chef program, in which I travel around the state and to Chicago to meet with chefs and cook with them in their kitchens. I learn their techniques and bring them back to campus for our chefs to use. Being able to rub elbows with some of my idols and bringing new culinary trends back to the University is a highlight of working at Princeton.”
Other interests: Spending time with his wife, Karen, and their children, 6-year-old Ryan, 4-year-old Colin and 2-year-old Erin. Kayaking, biking and hiking.
