Curators to conduct tours of Princeton University Library exhibitions

Princeton, N.J. -- Curators at the Princeton University Library will lead tours of these two major exhibitions in October:

Thomas Wolfe -- Curator Peggy Sherry will lead a tour of her exhibition, "The Story of a Novelist: Thomas Wolfe (1900-1938), A Centennial Exhibition," on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. in the Leonard L. Milberg Gallery for the Graphic Arts in Princeton's Firestone Library. This is the final day of the exhibition, which ends just prior to Wolfe's 100th birthday on Oct. 3. For more information see:

One Hundred Treasures -- Alfred Bush, co-curator of the exhibition "A Century for the Millennium: One Hundred Treasures from Collections in the Princeton University Library," will escort visitors through this spectacular exhibition on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. The exhibition displays what library staff members believe to be the 100 most interesting and important items in the library holdings. On display in the Main Exhibition Gallery at Princeton's Firestone Library are a first printing of the Declaration of Independence, an Audubon watercolor, a Gutenberg Bible, Woodrow Wilson's first inaugural address, and one of the photographs Lewis Carroll took of Alice Liddell, his "Alice in Wonderland."
