Students, Arts Council present Communiversity 2000

PRINCETON, N.J.: Communiversity, the annual spring celebration of the arts, will overflow the streets of downtown Princeton on Saturday, April 15 between noon and 4:00 p.m. The event, produced by The Arts Council of Princeton and the students of Princeton University, brings together town and borough residents, students, merchants, non-profits organizations, musicians, performing artists, visual artists, crafters, and food vendors for a festive street fair.

Several new features have been added to this year's Communiversity. The Princeton University International Center will be out in full force, adding international foods, displays, and performances, including a flag procession, to the mix. Guests also will be able to stroll through Princeton Environmental Action's "Walk Through Time," a set of 90 colorful panels displaying the development of life on earth. As always, there will be plenty of children's activities, including a new "Arts Park" provided by The Arts Council of Princeton.

In case of rain, the festivities will be moved inside to alternative locations.
