Palestinian Ambassador to Speak at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ambassador M. Nasser Al-Kidwa, Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations, will speak on "Palestine Among the Nations: The Road to Recognized Statehood" at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs on Wednesday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Robertson Hall, Dodds Auditorium.

Al-Kidwa, who joined the Fatah faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1969, has been a member of the Palestine National Council since 1975. He was appointed as Alternate Permanent Observer of the Palestine Liberation Organization to the United Nations in 1986, and as Permanent Observer of the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1991.

He has attended several regional, international and annual non-governmental conferences and seminars as a leader or member of the official Palestinian delegation.

His talk is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School.
