Foreign Minister from the Republic
of Yemen to Speak at Princeton

Princeton, N.J. -- Abdulkarim Al-Eryani, minister of foreign affairs and deputy prime minister for the Republic of Yemen, will speak on "Development in Yemen and Its Foreign Policy" at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs on Tuesday, October 7, at 4:30 p.m. in Bowl 2, Robertson Hall.

A native of Yemen, Al-Eryani was appointed Yemen's minister of foreign affairs and deputy prime minister in 1994, having served previously as its prime minister (1980 83) and as its minister of planning and development and its minister of education. He also was chair and minister of development of Yemen's Central Planning Organization and an adviser for the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
