Harvard Professor to Discuss "The Economic Impact of Immigration"

Princeton, N.J. -- George Borjas, professor of public policy at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, will discuss "The Economic Impact of Immigration" at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs on Tuesday, February 25, at 4:30 p.m. in Bowl 1, Robertson Hall.

Borjas' many books include Labor Economics and Friends or Strangers: The Impact of Immigrants on the U.S. Economy . He is on the editorial boards of the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the International Migration Review . His work has appeared in the Journal of Law and Economics , the American Economic Review , the Quarterly Journal of Economics , and the Journal of Economic Perspectives , among other publications.

Borjas is also a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Mass., and a member of the National Academy of Sciences' Panel on Demographic and Economic Impacts of Immigration.

His talk is being sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School.
