Delegate General for Quebec
to Address ''Current Issues''

Princeton, N.J.--Kevin Drummond, the delegate general of
Quebec in New York, will speak on ``Current Issues in
Quebec'' at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of
Public and International Affairs on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 4:30
p.m. in Bowl 6, Robertson Hall.

Residents of Quebec voted by an extremely narrow margin on
October 30 to remain a part of Canada. Some analysts believe
that had Quebec chosen to secede from the country, the rest
of Canada would have eventually been fragmented.

Drummond, who has been delegate general of Quebec in New York
since 1994, is also the president of D.B.K. Investments. He
entered public service in 1966 and has been a technical
adviser for the Quebec Department of Education, executive
assistant to the president of the Treasury Board of Canada, a
member of the National Assembly of Quebec, Minister of Land
and Forests, and Minister of Agriculture.

His talk is being sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School and
the University's Fund for Canadian Studies.
