Consul General of France to Speak
on the Future of Europe

Princeton, N.J.--Andre Baeyens, the Consul General of France in
New York, will speak on ``How the French See the Future of
Europe,'' at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of
Public and International Affairs on Tuesday, April 4, at 4:30 p.m.
in Robertson Hall, Bowl 1.

Baeyens had previously served as ambassador to Seoul, ambassador
and permanent representative of France to the Office of the United
Nations and to the International Organizations in Vienna, and
deputy to the director general of Cultural Relations at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris. From 1977 to 1982, he
headed the press and information service of the French Embassy in
New York. He has also held posts in London, Bonn, Washington, and
Rome, and holds the rank of Officer of the Legion of Honor.

His talk is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School.
