Malaysian Ambassador to Speak
on Environmental Issues and
Concerns of Developing Countries

Princeton, N.J.--Ambassador Razali Ismail will speak on
``Environmental Justice, Development, and the Global Environment:
The Perspective of Developing Countries'' at Princeton
University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International
Affairs on Wednesday, March 22, at 4:30 p.m. in Robertson Hall,
Bowl 1.

Ismail has been the permanent representative of Malaysia to the
United Nations since 1988. He was the chief Malaysian delegate to
the U.N. Security Council when Malaysia was a member and has been
a member of the board of the International Peace Academy and the
head of Malaysia's delegation to the United Nation's Conference on
the Environment and Development in Rio in 1992. He is the author
of several papers on the United Nations, the New World Order, and
Environmental Sustainability and Development.

His talk is being sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School.
