The Pace Center for Community Service is the central portal for community-based experience and learning at Princeton University. The center collaborates with other University entities and forms partnerships with the external community to coordinate and provide service opportunities.

Speakers at the dedication ceremony will include Tilghman and Dickerson, as well as Malkiel, who first proposed the idea for the center during the University's 250th anniversary celebration in 1996.

"The Pace Center strives to raise the profile of service at Princeton and bolster its place within the broader educational mission of the University. We seek to instill lifelong civic responsibility in our students, and we are proud to highlight the wonderful work that is being done by our many partners in service, namely our students, staff, faculty and alumni," said Montaño, who also will speak at the dedication.
