Press conference on Princeton University gift to Board of Education

What: Press conference to discuss $500,000 gift from Princeton University to the Princeton Regional Board of Education

When: Monday, March 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Where: Maclean House on the Princeton University campus. (When you are facing the front of Nassau Hall, Maclean House is the yellow building to the right and front.)

Princeton University’s gift to the Board of Education is part of a $78.2 million building program to be considered by voters in April. The University’s contribution will help convert the high school auditorium into the main reading room for an expanded and modernized library.

If approved by voters, the referendum will fund renovations and additions to all six district schools.

Since June 2000, the University has committed nearly $1.7 million to community institutions.
