Friends of the Princeton University Library offer "Meet the Curator" series
Princeton, N.J. -- The Friends of the Princeton University Library is again sponsoring its fall "Meet the Curator" series. Each event features a distinguished curator or librarian discussing his work and showing important materials he has worked on or acquired for the library.
The three events are:
- Peter T. Johnson, bibliographer for Latin America, Spain, and Portugal, "Building Princetons Collection of 20th-century Latin American Literary Manuscripts," Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.
- Scott Husby, rare books conservator, "Historical Book Bindings at Princeton," Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
- Martin Heijdra, Chinese bibliographer and caretaker of the Gest Oriental Rare Books Library, "The Gest Library and the History of the Chinese Book," Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
